I've tried this every which way I can think of in .NET 4.0 and it just doesn't seem to work. The method is called, and so forth, it just doesn't do it Async.

Hello Chris

I reviewed the code for redirection it looks good. There is one limitation that you mentioned for defining User Agents.

I am not sure whether you had a look at the website that i provided, please look at this www.51degrees.mobi/.../NETMobileAPI it is very easy to redirect user to mobile landing page by just defining in web.config. It considers entire database of "WURLF" for redirection.

Along with the redirection it also provides data of device making request which can be very much helpful for designing Mobile Websites.

Hope you have a look at this.

You can easily determine mobile device making request. Please goto website 51degrees.mobi and look into details for "NetMobileAPI" under products menu.

This API gives detailed information of the device making the request and also has the facility to redirect user automatically to mobile specific page when request in coming from mobile device.
